Individual therapy

Individual therapy usually takes place weekly and lasts 50 minutes. Individual sessions can also take place online if needed. Together we develop an individual understanding of your difficulties and concrete, everyday steps toward change.

Couples therapy

Couples therapy is for couples who want to work through conflict together. As this is a self-pay service not covered by health insurance, session frequency can be arranged flexibly. A session lasts 50 or 100 minutes.

Psychological diagnostics

A psychological assessment precedes every course of psychotherapy and is a standard part of my practice. I also offer adults a targeted assessment without follow-up therapy – for example where there is a suspicion of neurodivergence such as ADHD or an autism spectrum condition. If wanted, therapeutic support can follow afterwards.

Group therapy

A cognitive behavioural group of 3 to 9 participants is currently in planning. If you are interested, I am happy to add you to the waiting list and will be in touch once it starts.

Costs & billing

Private health insurance / Beihilfe

Private health insurers and Beihilfe offices generally cover a large part, often the full cost, of psychotherapy. Please check with your insurer before starting treatment to what extent costs will be covered. My fee for individual sessions follows the official fee schedule for psychotherapists (GOP) and the July 2024 billing recommendations; it ranges between €135 and €168 per session. Additional items may apply, such as for the application process, biographical history-taking, or psychological testing.

Self-pay

You can also cover the cost of psychotherapy yourself, independently of your health insurance – with no formalities required. My fee for individual sessions also follows the GOP and is €153 per session. Additional items may apply, such as for psychological testing.

Couples therapy

A 50-minute couples therapy session costs €170. These costs are not covered by statutory or private health insurance.
